At Maria’s suggestion, I abandoned the watercolor and stuck with the dip pen and black ink.

James Supra on Harmonica

I felt pretty stiff all night long.  The watercolor flow just wasn’t there.  I think the switch to Daylight Savings along with the stress of not having my taxes done yet made it difficult to take off the armor I wear for everyday living to be totally and wonderfully vulnerable to the energy of the music.  There were, however, a few gems of the evening such as the portrait of James Supra playing harmonica.

Drawing done with dip pen and black ink.
