A bit of rain didn’t stop the artists from showing up this morning at Old York Cellars Vineyard to paint together.

I happily loosened up as the day progressed.

My favorite of the day is the last painting I did as the day drew to a close.

Three young friends sharing a bottle of wine in the vineyard.

It was a great weekend … excellent weather, new artist friends, new contacts with delightful people I would not have otherwise crossed paths with.

Paintings: the first two images are watercolor, the last was drawn first with dip pen in Noodler’s Brown Ink (2012) followed by watercolor.  All paintings painted en plein air.
