Yesterday’s early morning rain freshened the landscape colors. The clouds filtered the sun until early afternoon. I preferred the moodiness of the overcast morning to the bleaching sun of the afternoon.
Thanks to the cloudy sky, there were no shadows to shift drastically every ten minutes. I decided to work on a larger piece to take advantage of the beautiful, cool colors and the even lighting.
