Tom made me a wonderful attachment to my plein air easel that allows me to work on a 22″ x 30″ sheet of watercolor paper and to tip it at any angle I want! What a terrific guy!
Now that one problem is solved, I move on to the even more difficult problem. How do I paint a cornfield, en plein air, on a large piece of watercolor paper?
I blocked it in today. Tomorrow will be even more challenging. I can’t wait! I don’t want it to be finicky. I want to hear the breezes, smell the leaves and fell the sun. We’ll see how well I capture those three experiences.
